Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder-(PMDD)
Collection of physical and emotional symptoms that occurs 5 to 11 days before a woman's period begins.
Goes away once menstruation starts
May also lead to or predict premenopausal depression in some women
Suicide rate in women with depression is much higher during the second half of the menstrual cycle
Other Complications:
Limitations on Activities of Daily Living.
Adverse effect on women's relationship with co-workers, partners, and children.
